Because walking up to people and saying, "Let's be friends!" is always a good time. I'm attending the following... any takers?

Networking is about building relationships, both personal and business, and what better way than over a margarita and light Mexican fare? Join this dynamic group of future business leaders as you build the support network you need to ensure your success in the community.
I'm an unofficial (aka I haven't paid my dues yet) member of the
Women's Global Network, and the self-declared COO of the Young Professionals group of WGN. Self-declared title because there's only been a handful of us who regularly attend events... so naturally we gave ourselves titles. If you join, we might grant you a title too. Sorry, Greg. You're not invited.
BUT. Another happening next week:
I received this from a fellow San Diego PR friend:

Info on PB Shooting and victim:
The mother of the victim and local residents ban together asking for the communities help with information leading to the arrest and conviction of an unidentified assailant involved in an early morning shooting in Pacific Beach on Monday, September 17, 2007. Updated sketches of the assailant were released today.
As the story has unfolded it has been discovered that Eric Joseph had been acting as a good Samaritan in breaking up an altercation where a group of men where attacking a man he didn’t even know in front of the burrito shop on Mission and Garnet.
After breaking up the altercation the assailant followed victim and his group of friends to the corner of Bayard and Garnet where he proceeded to draw a gun and open fire when Eric was hit with two bullets in each leg.
Eric is 25 years old and moved to San Diego two years ago from Belle Harbor, New York after graduating from St. Francis College. He has been working two jobs at Bar West and Stingaree. His employer EnDev Enterprises will hold a fundraiser for the victim at Stingaree on October 3, 2007 to cover medical bills and expenses as he recovers from the serious injuries.
On the behalf of Eric’s Family, James Brennan, Shane Brennan, myself & the entire Sting/Barwest & Fortune Families we thank you from our the bottom of our hearts for all of you help & support!
